First attempt in the kitchen was pure disaster. Same as the ones that followed. Started cooking when I was 18, a student and living on my own for the first time. When I left my parents’ house, I tried to write down some of my mother’s fantastic recipes, but quantities like “to taste”, “a pinch” etc. didn’t really make any sense to me. So, I improvised over and over again and I must say I’m very lucky to have so loving and lickerish friends!
